ZC powered EG????
#14
The SOHC ZC came in the lower trim JDM EG civics with carbs and 4WD [RTS]. They also came DOHC in some trims [RTSi]
The DOHC non VTEC ZC was found in JDM CRX's and JDM EF Civic hatches, hence the bump on the hood to clear the extra cam.
The first similar ZC design in the US is the DOHC non VTEC D16A found in the first generation Acura Integra in 86-87.

Hey what's up people??? Well.... I just bought an 89 Crx Si with a ZC DOHC motor and I too live in Arizona. I do not think that my car is smogged and was wondering if you could smog a ZC to get it passed emissions. Will I only need a smog pump ???? I was also wondering if this is the CRX that the ZC cam stock in ???
