hey how about them new VW GTI's? have they come a long way from breaking down often to being more reliable? and don't they have a pull? 2.0 TDI into a little car?

I'd rather have a 93-95 Camaro Z28 or 93-95 Trans Am. About, if not more horsepower then a 99+ Mustang GT. Cheaper, mods are priced decently, and faster.

trans-am i agree. i like the styling better. the new stangs don't look bad at ALL I gawk at the occasional hooked up one and they are fast as shiat (so are firebirds) as long as you are going in a straight line.

one thing i dont understand lol is why u guys are comparing HIGHLY modded civics to a mustang.... yeah no **** a B20 civic is gonna beat a mustang... but how about if i super charge my stang? huh yeah thats what i thought..... and about this comment "like oc said.....you dont need an h22 to beat a mustang, just spray, correctly. cheap and if its that important to you to beat a mustang than go ahead and get the bottle"
i have a friend with a v6 camero...V6 for gods sake!!! with a bottle in it and he smokes ALOT of civics...imagine that on a 260hp mustang with 305 pound feet of torque... point is mustangs have warrenties when u buy them... inever had any probs with mine... if u wanna dump a **** load of money into a civic... ITS STILL A CIVIC... and u will never be able to drift or have the fun of a rear wheel drive car.... if reliability is ALL u want, that and good gas.. get a civic... if u want to have alot of fun and can afford a warrenty.. get the stang

I agree its gay to compare reliability of a 100hp car as opposed to a 300hp car. Of course the Mustang will break more, it has to deal with a lot more.

Good advice, but again, my concern is reliability. I'm used to a car that goes 60k miles and still feels new. I'm used to a car that goes 150k miles without needing anything more than oil changes and new wiper blades. Can a 93 Camaro do that?

Awesome, thanks. How did the Mustang *feel* compared to a Civic? Did you get an impression of cheapness at all?
