Default hmotors online

so with my bday n xmas... im definately swapping haha cant wait...

plannin on gettin a 1st gen b16 and im pretty convinced that hmotors is as reliable as can be...

so juss one question... how long does it take before physically gettin the engine after you order it.

its the 25th now, going to peru on the 1st to the 8th... then going back to uconn for school on the 19th. when do you guys think i should order it?? i definately wanna try to get it done before i go back to school, otherwise ill blow my money on food and burr (beer)

my best guess would be like 28th, so they can call to confirm within the 29th n 30th, then the shipping deal can happen from there

lemme know what you guys know/think

thanks and happy holidays

I got my motor from hmo, shipping took about a week. If its in stock they should be able to get it to you before the 8th depending on where you live.

I got a JDM H22 from hmotors and it took a couple weeks because we had to wait for the boat. Just call em up and ask.

Hmotors is a really great place to get motors. I got everything I needed from them including the right axles and hasport mounts. The motor has never had any problems and purrrrrrrs like a cat.... a really big cat... vtec grrrrrrr....

It'll cost about the same in the end to do a 1st or 2nd gen. Definitely go with the 2nd gen and save yourself the extra work.

I did a first gen and it didnt cost me near as much as a second gen would have.

a first gen would be cheaper for the actual engine but, youre going to have to convert it to obd1, since thats what your car is. but, for that you just need an obd1 dist, cap, ecu, and harness right?

you can use your dx harness just add a couple wires....then I had to buy a dizzy and swap my injectors over from my old motor....that plus mounts....grand total.......way less then the gen2....I mean if you can afford it go with the gen2 or a gsr..I would have if I could have...but I didnt have the loot at the time so I made due. I couldnt really wait cause I blew up the old one...I love my lil b16a even though everybody on HAN is a b16a hater:fawk:
