Default Power Window Problems!!!!!

My driver side power window suddenly stopped working...it works only at a certain angle when i open the door and sometimes it dont werk at all...i have cheked the fuse and nuthin was burnt out......i went to a junkyard and bought a replacement motor and switch for it...then plugged them all in and still not working.....so i am thinkin its a wire??? does any one know wats the dea...hook me up with some intels!!!

does the other side work?? its probably a bad connection somewhere. you're just going to have to hunt it down. or maybe its just stuck, check the rails and stuff.

then its prolly isolated to that one window. seeing as you already have power, check if there is enuff power going to the motor. then check all connections. and if everything is fine its prolly stuck or crooked (sp?) or some shit,.

pull everything back out, and plug JUST the motor in while your holding it... not while its trying to push the window up.

Does it work?

does it move? is it seized? try both motors. - get back to me on that.


If that doesn't work, grab a multimeter and a friend, and check with the multimeter to see if its getting any juice. -- get back to me.

your wire is cracking and losing connection. you'll have to repair the short inbetween the door
