will i die.
hey guys whats up... i'm running on stock steelies and they always get deflated by themselves a few psi. but the rear right one goes down to 10psi!!!! every couple days....
it rains a lot in washington... besides losing a lot of gas, is there any other risk... like sliding off a cliff or something bad like that... will it pop??
i'm poor.

go buy someone's set of used steelies for like 50 bucks, don't be a cheapass especially when it comes to tires. I recently totalled my civic cause my rear kumhos were way too worn down but i didn't get around to changing them out cause i was being a cheap bastard. The back right one blew out and i slid into a median going 50 causing over 15K damage and a totalled beautiful car.
You don't want that to happen to you, go get some tires.

Actually sometimes an underinflated tire can put LESS tire on the ground. The middle part can sometimes "cup" inward and cause only the outter edges to contact.

haha that's when it's REALLY flat, but in general 10 psi or less deflated will cause more traction to the ground which is why people lower their tire pressure to 20 psi on street tires when they run at the drag strip and why you run most slicks @ 10-12 psi.
