I'd take either the STI or the EV0...both VERY impressive cars...but I would lean towards the STI. The Lancer "OZ Edition" really killed my view on Lancers

My brother has test drove both and he says the STi has noticeably more power, but the Evo feels like it has a stiffer chassis. Plus the STi doesn't come with a radio (even though it has hookups).

the evo is really cool so is the sti.

congrats on the ss kill. 4 door sedan smoking a car which has what? 3 times as big of a motor?

I just can't bring myself to put down 35,000 on a car. plus who'd wanna tool around on a 35,000 project car?

civic are great learning cars. i'm ready to move on myself. hatch has been all parted out. i'm gonna start searching for a 91 hardtop N/A mr2 soon.

How are all you people hearing of/ taking test drives on EVO's and STI's? Every dealer I go to here will not for the life of them allow a test drive. Each and every one of them say whoever is in the market for one of these already knows what it can do.

If any sort of "test drive" will be allowed, its with credit approval and a write-up of a lot of details and numbers h:

to test drive at most dealer ships here the just copy license and sign papers then you can take home for a few hours to see how you like it(they let you). I drove RX8 with my best friend......not a bad car but the trimming and interior is kinda cheapo. The STi's in my opinion are a better car all around than the evoVIII.

Again, it'd be a tough choice between the EVO and the STi. A local shop owner here has begun modding his EVO, I can't wait to see what it will look like when he's ready to show it.
