I would LOVE to learn how to weld things... where do you learn...?? Night classes? Welding 101? None of my friends do it, and my uncle the Porsche mechanic isn't very friendly about inviting me to the shop to learn new things.

There is a welding class at the Tech Center in Huntsville for night classes, so there may be one around where you are.

THe problem with those is clearing your header. I had the neuspeed one and my Mugen CTR header basically sat right on, rattling around like mad. I tried notching the brace but it still would rattle when the engine torqued, so the neuspeed brace found itself in my garbage, basically ruined from my notching.

What the Sol needs is an X-brace under the passenger area to stiffen the flexi-flyer chassis in the middle of the car. :P

couldnt you just make one with some piping or something, then weld on hooks to somehow attach it to somewhere on your suspension. like the lcas?
