Default Complicated motor swap sensor HELP

I am getting ready to dosome really serious shit to my car. My 98 hatch is getting ready to recieve the mother of all transplants.

B18c5 block, Darton sleeves, eagle rods, wiseco pistons......11.5:1 ratio , complete JG stage 3 b16 head, LS tranny. Hasport Cable clutch conversion kit. GSR ecu......etc etc etc.

Well, here is the thing. I am piecing together this whole swap. I am going to get a skunk2 intake manifold. Well, now I have come to a point where I have realized I am missing something very important.....SENSORS Does anyone have any clue what I should do to resolvethis. I have been fortunate in what I have came across and the deals I have ran into. I don't have a thousand bucks for all the sensors I know I need. Does anyone have any ideas??? Also, What mounts will I have to get to make this fit in my 98 hatch. I have heard all I need is a 99-2000 si rear tranny mount. Anyone know truth to this????

thanks,

Jason

Take the sensors off your old engine

If it is from the same elecronics "generation," yes, the sensors will plug into the harness.

The GS-R manifold won't fit the B16 head though, unless it's been reworked, so no bother mounting sensors into it.

I can only guess it's because B cable trannies are cheap as hell, and have the same gearing as the later hydros.

good guess on the tranny. Believe it or not I am on a budget.

I want the LS tranny cause I drive about 2 1/2 house every other weekend to see my daughter and girlfriend. I kinda want a little bit longer gears. I don't think it will effect things too much cause with that much power I am going to spin through 1st and second and part of third anyways

what manifold would be good? SKUNK2??? or should I get a stock B16 one?

Stock b16. Not worth the $ to get skunk unless you have a GSR manifold.
