I just got my b18c done....it runs immaculate...but it is drinking (like chugging) antifreeze. Me and my friends are unable to tell of any leaks....anyone know anything else of why this is going on?

 

is it blowing smoke? Leaking from the heater core?

 

Did you bleed the cooling system???

 

my accord was doing this before it blew a headgasket. Wouldn't hold any coolent, but still, no leaks.

hows it run? going hot? (obviously...)

I say replace the headgasket and go from there....

 

no it runs perfect.....it stays in the middle heat range....there is no leaks....do you think its just cuz im running a better motor....

Check the waterpump...

 

I had a bad headgasket that was eating coolant, and it never overheated. Honda's rarely run warm, so if you're in a cool climate, that sounds like the cause.

 

weird... when that f22 gasket was going, it wouldn't stop overheating. Keep eating radiator hoses, too.

You say you just installed it...have you driven it before you posted this message? How much coolant did you add before you started it? (as said above), did you burt the cooling system?

 

thats what my supra did when the headgasket went out. Overheated too, tho.
