Its just the overflow that is going dry.... The dood at a local shop said that its fine and that the overflow is just there just incase the radiator needs more or less...so basically I feel dumb right now....

hey man, good news....that would have been a kick in the no sunshine zone if it twernt

I had a leak to when I installed mine but it was just a hose. We had to use a slightly larger hose which was not all that smart but there was nothing we could do at the time . Just tightened up the hose-clamps as much as I could and that spolved the prob :thumbup:

The overflow should never go 'dry' the level will go up and down, hotter it is, the more water will be in the overflow and when the car cools down, it will draw more water in as the fluid cools down...If its going dry, ur leaking somewhere....

hmm i think my headgasket is messed up also cause i'm having the same problem. My coolant seems to be leaking from the headgasket. Does anyknow know how much it would cost to replace?

a head gasket is like $50. Not too hard to DIY if you have some experience.

Like he said..Not too hard.....

BUT!!!!...If you let it get to the point where you blow the head gasket you will probably be out of alot more than 50 bucks...

So get to the root of the problem before it becomes a disaster

But hey it may just be a loose line or something
