old muffler rusted, new muffler dynomax?

tips on new muffler dynomax *tip*?
hey my old muffler was rattling and it turns out the metal thingies inside the muffler has rusted off and being a really large rattle, bottom line, i need a new muffler,
my friend has a relatively new dynomax he got from work (free). is that a good choice? i'm not a big muffler fart sound guy. as i found out today cause my friend broke off the rusting tip coming off the muffler
whats the best muffler being top on performance and low on sound?
thanks in advance.

depending where you are, and how you drive you might want to consider replacing the whole cat-back. my mid-section rusted through and I HAD to get a new one.
if you need the axle back section i will sell you mine. its still in good condition PM me if interested

A full catback system would be beneficial for your car as well as quieter than a universal system. Many folks on the board swear by the A'pex-i exhaust system. Hopefully someone can be more specific if it was the N1 or the WS.

ok i got the dynomax in, and its kinda loud. will sticking "a tip" on it make it more quiet?
not a rice a rony tip but just a reg pipe out. right now. on the muffler, theres just like two inch tip. and well everythings going underneath the bumper. any tips on muffler know how?
