Default air/fuel gauge causing me stress

ok so im trying to install the autometer a/f gauge. ive cant seem to get it to work. ive put it into both the green and the white wires coming from the o2 sensor and have also tried the white wire in the ecu. everytime i turn the car on the gauge just lights up the green light farthest to the right. it also does this when the purple wire isnt hooked up to anything. any ideas? the ecu is from an ek9.

Of course it lights up the farthest green l;ight. When you start up your car, it runs it rich because everything is cold. As your engine warms up, the gauge will start dipping down, and flopping back and forth. It is the WHITE wire that i needs to be hooked up to. It's really oly accurate at WOT.

it is best to hook the purple wire to the white wire off the o2 sensor then to the ecu. just like mines, at first start it stays green, starts rich, then gradually it goes to stioch then bounces to lean. ur fine.

A/F meters are worthless. By the time you see the guage your already way past with the delay.

yes,...hook the violet wire to the white wire on the o2,...drive the car and it will start bouncing and being inaccurate like everyone elses unless you have a wideband o2,...the only time your A/F gauge is accurate is at WOT,...but hey,..atleast it looks good right?
