I think you meant "blue".. that blur thing screwed me up for a minute. The Ion lens really doesn't effect the light that goes through it. The light will either be "yellow" from the stock style bulbs or "blue/white" from the hyper white (or whatever) bulbs you have installed.
The ion coloring is just for looks while the headlight is off during the day... hope it helps.

Although there are early versions of projectors that projected a yellow beam. I doubt those even exist anymore.
