These are the wheels I put on the GSX. The GSX looked exactly the same with them on. The trim on both cars is identical. I'm running 50 series on them now, though. 45's looked stupid without a drop.

I'm done for now. The next pics that I post in here will be of a T-boned Integra.

This might help you get it in there pretty easy.

Holy crap, man. Those things cost more than the motor/tranny. That's not the only way to do it, is it? I don't care if it's not easy. I'm a cheap bastard.

A VW? How could you?
You can make that work for cheaper than you can get a B18B swap for around here.
Yeah, he can part out the rest of the car and basically get the engine for free plus a few bucks. All said and done, it probably would end up a couple hundred cheaper.

The mounting system in the G2 Integra is pretty much the same. Whatever doesn't work you can replace with 94-01 Integra mounts or some of your stock mounts, depending on location.

You're not quite understanding the difference between a cable and a hydrolic transaxle. The shifters are solid bars on all D and B series engines, so if you use a 94-01 Integra shift linkage, all is fine. Bolt it on and go. The difference is in the clutch system, pre-94 Integras and pre-92 Civics use a cable to engage/disengage the clutch. 94+ Integras and 92+ Civics use a hydrolic system to do the same. They can be swapped, but it takes some special mounts that HASport makes.

http://www.hasport.com/store/EGB1.htm note the "cable transmission" kit, $225. It is availible seprately from the complete mount kit.

Oh... Oh yeah... duuuuuuh.

I'm not used to cars with cable-actuated clutches. All of mine have always been hydraulic. My GSX uses cables for the shifter. That's why I got it confused because that's what I've had my head buried in all week.

I'm learning....

Yeah, over on the Honda side the 90+ Accords and 92+ Preludes use cable shifters. That is one of the little things that make H and F series swaps into a Civic or Integra a little bit more difficult.

I've seen a 1G DSM shifter assembly, those things don't look very fun at all.

Yeah, one of my friends told me" Man, why didnt you just tell me you were going to get a VW, I woulda just kicked you in the nuts and got it over with"

I'd say do it. A little extra effort, but still gravy. If you change your mind, I'll buy it from you.
