A friend of mine used spacers so could use some wheels with the wrong offset, and his wheel fell off when driving. Luckily he only needed his fender replaced. Some mexican pulled over and tried to steal the wheel that came off. He was able to catch him before he got back to his truck though.

Well since being a smart ass didn't work let me explain this again, while trying not to be rude..

I was NOT sure if all they were was a cheap ass spacer...hence my original question. ARE THEY DANGEROUS?

Unfortunately everyone but you is giving input towards the question..and thats all I asked for and I'm judging from what everyone said that they are not worth the wrapper they are sold in...

So thank you all for your input and stories.

Well I'm not a rich guy or anything but I'm not broke either ...and I guess I moght not have mentioned but my brother has a set of s2000 rims...that is the ONLY reason I would ask a question like this ....I thought I wrote that but I guess I left it out.

this will save their asses from getting sued, yet they know some customers are willing to take the risk for showboating on public streets

my bad, i see it now, i thought you meant he "came across" some for sale my b. but id still ball up and do a swap, or just sell the wheels :dunno: if you HAVE to get those spacers, def get the H&R ones, but id just sell the wheels and get others personally JMO
