I have the sport springs on my car. It's not too low.

what struts do you have? were they replaced with oem or aftermarket? The h&r's will work with stock struts, but your ride will be bouncy, and they will eventually blow.

But you might want to get a part number first, there is H&R Sport and there is H&R OE Sport, the OE Sport does not drop as much.

I justed some H&R Sports from adventon.com not too long ago. Total ended up being bout $150. Best I could find on the net so I say save the extra for brand new. Just to be on the safe side, to make sure you don't get focked. Just my opinion though.....:dunno:

Why would the ride be bouncy if it is not now? If I replaced the springs it would be like having the springs I have on now just lower. So I don't get why the ride would be bouncy.

Correct me if I'm wrong, the lower your car gets, the more bumps, etc. you feel. Your being lowered 1.2 isn't really enough to make your ride quality that much worse than stock. But with the new springs, your car will be lower so therefore you're going to feel almost every bump in the road. Understand now?

Most aftermarket springs have a higher rate than factory. If you had the same spring rate with a lower ride, you would get enough suspension travel to slam the bump-stop all the time. To correct this, they increase the rate of the spring. Most factory strut are made set rate. If you add a spring with 100+ pound increase over factory, your strut cannot control this. aka BOUNCY RIDE. Will not control dampening or re-bound. If you call around, you can find a strut that is close to the rate of spring that you want to run. Also the travel of the piston inside the strut is a factor. Hope this helps.
