yeah IMO carbon fiberhoods are overated.

i would buy
gruond control coilovers, which you can match up with some shocks later

 

I'm not saying that he should go buy a CF hood. I think there are better things for the $350 right now. Look at my posts in this thread and you will see that I never said go buy a CF hood. What I was saying was that CF hoods are not rice and are not worthless in my opinion.

 

I like carbon fiber hoods myself but thats towards the end of my list because of the fact of there being more useful and performace stuff that I can buy. I agree with the others and say save for a swap......will be soooo worth it in the end.

actually, those CF hoods I heard only took off about 11lbs. Enough to equal losing the A/C system.
