Default Radio bezel and heater controls on 98-00 vs 01-02

Are the radio bezels and their associated heater/AC controls interchangeable between the 98-00 and 01-02 Accords?

I've got a 2001 Accord and am putting a carputer in it. I bought a replacement radio bezel on ebay and it came with the heater controls and clock. I took it to a high-end car stereo place to have them adapt the touchscreen to the bezel and mold it in and give it a nice OEM look.

While showing someone a pic of their work so far I noticed "Oh SH1t!" That's a bezel for an earlier Accord.

I hope someone will confirm what I HOPE is true. Although they look a tiny bit different the plugs that go into the controls on the back are identical and the dash opening is identical too. Right?

Here's a side by side of the two for reference (not my modified one with the LCD yet):

you should be fine.

the only issue with the climate control is if you go from the manual (LX) to the digital (ex)

one problem your going to run into is the hazzard switch even tho it plugs right in is diffrent and not interchangable. if swapped it will mess up your turn signals, also the clock is diffrent , the climate controls will work fine , not sure if the hazzard can be rewired to work or not you can always just hide the other switch!

(I'm not saying I don't believe you at all)

but that sucks ... Even HondaAutomotive parts lists the clock as being the same part number for 00 and 01 models.

35141 008 CLOCK ASSY., DIGITAL

the only parts that are listed "different" is the bezel trim and actual heater controls. (and it's still the exact same harness, just the 01's have more trim on them)

the 98-00 clocks and hazard are diffrent if you look in the pics posted you will notice the 98-00 is more rounded and if you look at the connector of the hazard switch you will notice a missing pin. but honda manuals do have errors as 00 is a oddball year and will most likely depend on the production date. try looking up a 99 the clock will show up as a 39700-S84-A03 and the switch 35510-S84-A01 and the 01 clock is 39700-S84-A21 and the switch 35510-S84-A11.
