350Z test results by car and driver

Just admit it. The cars are very similar in terms of performance. The 350Z has a bigger upside because of it's torquery engine. You can improve on handling with inexpensive suspension mods. There's not much you can do to an S2000 to improve it's torque or horsepower though.

comptech as a centrifugal s/c out for the s2000 that gives it over 340 hp (http://www.comptechusa.com/images/dy...percharger.pdf)...oh wait you said no one can make more power out of its engine

Everything you have said has wasted lots of people time. becuase they must prove you wrong again and again.
I've been here and made too many good post for your n00b ass to tell me if my post are on topic or not.
So, dont bother with me.
zman--- everybody is totally entitled to their opinion. If you think the s2000 is a piece of crap and honda's are **** and nissan is better in every respect than go for it. Truth be told, id prefer nissan to most of their honda counterparts myself. But I'm not gonna go out at start talkin crap about honda. What happens when some honda guy that thinks anything that not honda is crap starts posting at freshalloy.com?? everybody hates that person and they wish he would just go away. Now you are behaving the same way. Most freshalloy.com members would be totally ashamed of you.

Let me see if I've got this straight. The dyno graph you posted indicates a peak RWHP of 284 @ 8900 rpms, and peak torque of 172.3 @ 8500 rpms.
Price: $4895 + $200 "core charge" + s/h charges.
Add in another what, $400-$600 for install and tuning, and the grand total comes to $5595-$5795 for a measly 284HP/172.3TQ @ nearly 9000 rpms. What a joke!
I won't even get into the well documented reliability issues with the S2000 s/c kit from Comptech. This just supports my point that the S2000's powerplant has little room for power gains.
The 350Z is a relatively low compression DOHC V6 which makes it an ideal engine for forced induction.... and it's got gobs of torque to boot. A few minor suspension mods for less than $500 and it would rip an S2000 up on any twisty mountain road or track.
Please don't bother posting this nonsense unless you are able to back it up.

Ok, I hope you're not serious here. Even S2000 owners call the comptech s/c a bust and don't consider it worth the time, money, or maintenance costs.

as for the 350Z taking out the S2000 on a road course, take a look at the weight ratio, the suspension (SHOWA vs. Nissan OEM?), the frame, etc. understand also that the base model 350Z wouldn't stand a chance against the S2000. everything is an option on the 350Z. with the S2000 it all comes standard.
please, if you think the 350Z is your savior and Nissan is your God, then by all means preach to those who care. but if you come here with your mindless thoughts, be prepared to shut up, sit down, and listen.... hahaha to think you had to nerve to tell someone that they're responses aren't solicited.
comparing an agile roadster to Nissan's bulky V6 is the classic apples to oranges. unfortunately for you, the inline four in the S2000 puts the 3.5 V6 to shame. 120hp/L to an marveling Nissan engineering breakthrough of 80hp/L. Nissan should just start manufacturing and designing their cars in Detriot.
